Pujo Parikrama - Looking at myself through the lens of the City

Mayer mukher adol kemon?
Asur kemon takay?
Singher kota daant bolo toh?
Ganesh ki khichuri khaye?
Jante holey chole esho
Dosher Porikromay

Durga Puja is more than just a festival—it’s a celebration of faith, culture, and community. This year, we embarked on an unforgettable two-day spiritual journey across Pune, visiting some of the most vibrant and devotional Durga Puja pandals spread across the city. With comfort, care, and Bhakti at the heart of our arrangements, the experience was truly soul-enriching for all who joined.

Day One: Western Pune Wonders

Our journey began with a sense of anticipation as we boarded our comfortable, air-conditioned bus early in the morning. From Hinjewadi to Pimpri, then Pimple Saudagar, Pashan, Baner, Aundh, and finally the sacred Khadki Kali Bari, each stop revealed a unique artistic expression of Maa Durga’s divine presence. The idols, the decor, the Dhunuchi naach—it was a visual and spiritual treat.

What made this day special was the warmth and care woven into every detail. Our elders were given extra attention, seats were arranged thoughtfully, and our little ones were kept engaged and joyful throughout. A sumptuous Bhog lunch added a sacred flavor to our travel, strengthening both our bodies and our bonds.

Day Two: Eastern Elegance

The second day took us to the cultural gems of East Pune—Hadapsar, AFMC, Amanora, Kharadi, and Koregaon Park. Each pandal had its own spiritual energy, pulling us into the rhythm of devotion. The AFMC and Koregaon Park pandals, in particular, stood out for their powerful ambience and grandeur.

Again, seamless coordination ensured we could soak in each moment without worry. Meals were timely, hydration was ensured, and assistance was always at hand.

As the sun set on day two, we returned not just tired but fulfilled—with hearts brimming with devotion and minds enriched by shared memories. This was not just a trip—it was a collective offering to Maa Durga, wrapped in care, connection, and love.
