General Body Meeting- April 27th ‘25
Minutes of meeting:-
1. Today , we discussed the events and milestones we achieved as a group in the year 2024-2025. We discussed how last year, we have been able to complete our registration process, how we have applied and got PAN CARD aAnd DARPAN ID. In addition, we have our bank account. As far as events are concerned, we organized Kali Pujo, Poila Boishakh, Pre-Holi party, Pre-Pujo-Hullor 25-e-boishakh, Pujo Parikrama, Bong tea party events and Saraswati Rujo successfully.
2. We also discussed the calendar for. 2025-26. We got voting done for conducting Durga Puja. We have an estimate of 3.5-4lac rupees for conducting Durga pujo. The above mentioned participants /members agreed to conduct Durga Puja in 2025. They also shared their views and opinions for the same.
3. One of our participant's family member suggested we work on a souvenir, which can help us generate funds for our club. For which we agreed to look into and see if souvenir is still a valid option and if it can be worked upon.
4. We also discussed that some members have committed to pay / contribute heavily towards Durga Pujo and have urged everybody to contribute fairly towards the Pujo. Further, we discussed that we need to open a slot for Pujo, which will then help us to successfully accomplish Durga Pujo. Additionally, we discussed and decided that we will come up with a minimum figure which will be required by members to contribute.
5. We talked about conducting a cultural program every year, for which individuals will be identified and will be trained by our beloved smt. Abha Mukherjee ma'am, who is a highly experienced teacher and academician in the field of art and culture.
6. We also discussed in detail about the benefits the members will get throughout the year.
7. For the yearly caterda 2025-26, we discussed and granted the following events:
a) Nababarsho celebration.
b) Rabindra-Nazrul charcha.
c) Duga Puja.
d) Kali Pujo.
e) Saraswati Puja.
h) Picnic.
i) Holi celebration
j) Series of Bong Tea party.
